Councillor Gren Knight
Brought up in Bristol, I met my wife whilst at University in Sheffield. We taught there for a few years before moving to Stafford where I worked as an Educational Psychologist. We moved to Gnosall with our two daughters in 1987 shortly after I started a new job in Wolverhampton.
The years fly by and three grandchildren later I retired from Wolverhampton as Chief Psychologist having also managed a variety of services for children and lecturing for a few years at Birmingham University.
I have continued to work with children and schools in various ways and am a Governor at St Lawrence Primary Academy.
I enjoy gardening, walking and Bellringing at our local church and occasionally elsewhere. I’m particularly interested in planning matters, the environment and local history. Gnosall is a delightful place to live in all sorts of ways and I hope as a Parish Councillor, I can help make it even better.
