Councillor Michael Sullivan
Mike Sullivan joins Gnosall Parish Council with over 30 years’ experience in commercial operations in 32 countries. Mike has worked in large international corporations as well as start-ups. More recently he worked with his teams to transform a healthcare business from a small export business to a multinational market and category leader.
Throughout his career in cleaning, hygiene and infection prevention, he has regularly doubled the size of businesses he has worked with every 3-5 years.
Mike is a trained facilitator, coach, negotiator and sales trainer and has won many awards for his and his team’s performance from the organisations he has worked for, his customers and from his industry.
Mike has an MBA from Cranfield along with a Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a degree in European Studies. He is a fluent French speaker and is a qualified TEFL (Teacher of English as a Foreign Language)
Mike is married with 2 sons who both play rugby. He believes rugby does more than any sport to develop core values in his family like discipline, teamwork, enjoyment and respect. Mike still enjoys the physical and mental well-being that sport brings and regularly skis, cycles, plays football, golf and runs the beautiful trails in and around Gnosall with his favourite sports team, the Gnosall Globetrotters.
