The Big BULB Plant

Gnosall Parish Council and the Best Kept Village team are joining forces to help support pollinators with an early food source while at the same time, making the village more beautiful.

We have ordered 10 000 natural crocuses, daffodils and iris’s, and are looking for willing volunteers to help plant them in pre-designated areas. If successful, this may become a yearly exercise increasing the spread of spring planting throughout the parish.

Four dates available:

Sunday 25th October – 9am to 11am

Sunday 1st November – 9am to 11am

Saturday 7th November – 2pm to 4pm

Saturday 14th November – 9am to 11am

For all sessions, please meet at the Grosvenor Centre.

Any community groups or organisations who would like to undertake bulb planting as a group activity at another date and time, please contact the Parish Council. Bulbs and designated planting areas will be provided free of charge.
